1. About These Terms
These Terms govern use of the TOFI-VDMA website and research services operated by Tree of Insights, LLC.
2. Research Panel Membership
2.1 Eligibility
- Membership open to US-based IT Managers and equivalent roles at companies with 50+ employees
- Valid corporate work email address required
- Minimum 3 years in an IT role
- Applications subject to manual verification and double opt-in email confirmation
- Applications may be declined at our discretion
2.2 Double Opt-In
All membership applications require email verification. A confirmation link is sent to your work email upon submission. Your application will not be reviewed until you confirm your email address. This confirms your identity and consent to participate.
2.3 Member Obligations
- Provide accurate, truthful information during application and survey participation
- Complete surveys in good faith without rushing or providing inconsistent answers
- Notify us promptly of changes to your employment status or role
- Not share membership credentials with third parties
2.4 Termination
We reserve the right to terminate panel membership at any time for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or failure to meet re-verification requirements.
3. Research Services (Clients)
3.1 Quality Guarantee
We provide replacement completes for responses that fail our post-field quality review. Replacement is subject to the terms agreed in your project contract.
3.2 Data Use
Survey data is provided for the client's internal research use only. Resale or redistribution without prior written consent is prohibited.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including the TOFI-VDMA brand and Tree of Insights branding, is the property of Tree of Insights, LLC. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tree of Insights shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by United States law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration.
